Photography: Southwest Adventure Tours
A handful of group journeys a year, I host personally. Not as the trip leader at the front of the bus — as the advisor on the trip, watching the details, smoothing the operator hand-offs, available the moment something needs attention. The trips below are the ones with seats now. There will always be one or two.
What hosted means
The advisor on the trip — not the tour director at the front of the bus.
A hosted trip isn't a tour package with my name on it. It's a small group — usually under twenty — built around the one thing you came for, with me on the ground the whole way: watching the forecast, moving the plan when the day calls for it, handling the operator hand-offs so you never feel the seams.
- I'm there the whole time. Not managed labor running a fixed schedule — the advisor who planned the trip, at every dinner and every moment that matters, adjusting in real time.
- Small by design. Private transfers instead of a forty-seat coach. Access a big group can't get. Room to follow the day where it wants to go.
- The seams are my job. Every property briefed, every hand-off smoothed, the logistics kept invisible — so the trip feels less planned and more like it's simply happening.
On the calendar now
Three trips, three reasons to come.
Tell me where you'd want me to host next.
There will always be one or two hosted trips with seats. If the region you're dreaming of isn't on the list yet, a discovery call is how it gets there — a few raised hands is often all it takes to build the next one.
Book a Discovery CallOr host your own
Want to host your own group — without the wrangling and the money management?
You bring the guest list. I plan it, book it, run it, and keep every moving piece off your plate — so you get to be a guest at your own trip. There's a reward in it for the host who fills the seats, too.
